Snow Day!

Well, it's a beautiful snowy day here.  What began as a sloppy wet mess of ice and slushy roads has ended up a winter wonderland.  Kudos to the weather people for actually getting it right this time!  I was just sure that with all the hype it would turn out to be nothing.  But, alas, I was proven very very wrong.  It is snowing hard outside and I'm inside and warm listening to my men riding the four-wheeler outside.  Brrrr....they are so much tougher than me.  I ran outside really quick to snap a few shots and ran back inside!  I can't take too much coldness.  Tim is a never ending bank of ideas when it comes to fun things to do on a snow day.  He has pulled Isaac's sled around the yard with a four-wheeler, taught Isaac the mechanics of snow donuts (not anything that you eat, by the way-the dangerous four-wheeler kind of donuts), made snow men and snow angels, and extreme snow bike riding.  Yes, they've had quite a day today!  My little guy has been sick this week, first with a sinus infection, then last night with a stomach bug of some kind.  And yes, we're letting him go outside and have endless fun...but here's the thing-we can't expect this kind of weather for AT LEAST another year or two.  Arkansas just doesn't get this stuff that often, so we figured, hey gotta let him get out in it.  And besides, he's acting pretty well really.  He's loving all this outdoor fun, as you will be able to see by the pictures I'm posting.  So, hoping that you enjoy the pictures of our winter wonderland!
