Tim's Leave
Well, I didn't take near as many pictures as I had intended...simply because it really was the last thing on my mind. Most of Tim's leave consisted of R & R to the fullest. We spent several days in Bee Branch with the Woods and had a blast driving around on the farm and riding tractors. Then, we went to Fairfield Bay for a few days and rested, which was equally wonderful. We finished Tim's time at home, just enjoying each other and family and doing what we do best, hang out! My birthday was in the middle of Tim's leave and he took me out to Chili's (southwest eggrolls...yummy!) and we had the Gentry clan up for a birthday bash. I got a sewing machine, which I am very eager to get started on! So this is just a hodge-podge of pictures that we took during our time together.
I have to admit that this last time, leaving Tim at the airport was harder than the first. Something about having a taste of normalcy just for it to be ripped away from you is jarring, but the best thing about it is that there are only a couple of months left of this deployment. And Christmas this year is going to truly be a celebration!
Love the pics. So what is the scoop on the guys return?
